Step #1: Fill out the Get a Price Quote Form - we will be offering free authentications for the near future
Step #2: Look at the 10 example photos on the right side of the form
Step #3: Take 10 photos of your sneakers that are similar to the 10 example photos and email them to lacelockai@gmail.com
Step #4: We will email and post your authentication results on our Instagram (@lacelockai) within 24 hours of the requested service
The Current State of our AI Model
Our model thrives on more data(pictures of sneakers) in the dataset. As time goes on with more authentications, our model will become more and more accurate. Currently right now, our model is running at 80% accuracy. Our AI model scans the back of the insole for shoes, size tags, and stitching, to provide the most accurate result on whether your sneaker is real or fake.

My name is Bobby Wholey, and I’ve been a sneaker reseller for the past four years. During this journey, I’ve encountered countless counterfeits and, like many others, have felt the pain of losing money after unknowingly purchasing fake sneakers that were marketed as authentic. These experiences sparked a deep desire to create a solution—one that ensures no sneaker enthusiast, collector, or reseller has to endure the frustration and financial loss caused by counterfeits.
To bring this vision to life, I collaborated with the brilliant minds at Carnegie Mellon University’s renowned CyLab, under the guidance of Professor Marios Savvides. This collaboration has allowed us to build a reliable, affordable, and accessible tool for the sneaker community, one that protects both your investments and your passion.
